Escape into a 7-day sanctuary in Ubud—where the sacredness of Bali's lush hills meets embodied, mindful practice. This retreat blends a rich tapestry of yoga styles: Ashtanga Mysore and led classes, Vinyasa flow, Yin and Restorative sessions, plus Iyengar-inspired alignment workshops—all thoughtfully designed to nurture strength, flexibility, relaxation, and deeper awareness.

Surrounded by emerald rice terraces, gentle rivers, and the stillness of Ubud’s spiritual energy, each practice invites you home to yourself—awakening clarity, presence, and inner calm. Ubud isn’t just the backdrop, it’s a living guide—its traditions call you inward, its peaceful rhythm encourages slowing down, and its vitality ignites creativity and inspiration.

Your days begin with sunrise practices blending breath, movement, and meditation—guided by birdsong and Bali’s first soft glow. Evenings may include alignment-focused technique workshops, breathwork sessions, or space for quiet contemplation.

Between sessions, savor nourishing plant-based cuisine—as healing to the body as the practice is to the mind. Retreat at the serene Amori Villas, a hidden sanctuary amid Petanu River valleys, saltwater infinity pools, spa spaces, and open-air yoga shalas—all designed for deep rest and soulful connection.

Ashtanga Primary Series

Led & Mysore

  • Mysore style: Self-paced, allowing participants to move through the Ashtanga sequence at their own rhythmPersonalized guidance and adjustments from the teacher.

  • Led Ashtanga: Instructor-led Primary Series with postures called out in Sanskrit. Cultivates unity, discipline, and focus in a group setting Structured environment to refine technique and alignment.

  • Preparatory Postures and Modification postures of the difficult asanas for health in alignment.

  • Respecting the tradition: Opening & Closing mantras

Each day of the Blissful Ubud Retreat is carefully curated to balance invigorating practice, deep relaxation, and authentic Balinese experiences.


Mornings begin with meditation, mantra chanting, and pranayama to awaken the body and focus the mind, followed by energizing yoga practices such as Ashtanga Mysore or guided Ashtanga led sessions.

Late mornings and afternoons offer a variety of optional workshops designed to enrich your journey—ranging from technique and alignment exploration, hands-on assists and adjustment learning, yoga philosophy discussions, yoga anatomy, or even inspiring documentary screenings. These sessions allow you to deepen your practice at your own rhythm.

Evenings are dedicated to gentle Yin, Sivananda, restorative, or yoga nidra practices, nurturing profound rest, integration, and inner stillness. Outside of practice, there’s space to wander through Ubud’s lush rice fields, colorful markets, sacred temples, and vibrant cafés, embracing the unique spirit of Bali.

Each day flows seamlessly between movement, mindfulness, and cultural immersion, ensuring a truly holistic and rejuvenating retreat experience in the heart of Ubud.

YOGA PROPS & EQUIPMENT

All essential yoga props for practice and teaching—including mats, blocks, straps, bolsters, Iyengar chairs, and more—are fully provided on site and aligned with the styles and traditions we teach.​ If you prefer to use your own personal equipment, feel free to bring it with you. It is good to bring anything you might need to take notes etc on optional included workshops you might wish to participate into.

PRE-REQUISITES & CONDITIONS

  • This retreat welcomes all levels. Many participants join simply to deepen their personal practice and understanding of yoga. While a basic knowledge of asanas, yoga philosophy, and a regular practice is welcomed, it is not mandatory—you will still benefit fully from this immersive experience.

  • Participants should be in good general health and able to engage in gentle to moderate physical activity.

  • The retreat will be conducted entirely in English. Participants should have a basic understanding of the language.

  • This retreat is ideal for those who wish to: Deepen their personal yoga practice, explore yoga on a physical, mental, and spiritual level.
